Disable Shift+Backspace from restarting XGL

This is really annoying!

So disable it

xmodmap -e 'keycode 22 = BackSpace BackSpace Terminate_Server'

This command will not happen automatically every time you reboot so add it to $HOME/.bashrc and your good.

Just went to Vegas stayed at the New York New York... not bad

Zendcon 2007

This is my first confrence and must say it's way cooler than I
expected. The breakout sessions are very interesting, almost
everything involves the Zend Framework in some way. The people are
great. I've been speaking with Roy who is part of the Zend studio for
Eclipse team. Which brings up probably the most exciting thing I've
heard so far.... Zend Studio for
Eclipse! They have basicly rewritten Studio as an eclipse plugin the
beta is really sweet from what I've seen. I can't wait to start using
it.
Other than that the hotel is very nice, food is great, and I can't
wait to see what happens tomorrow. For now, I'm going to finish my Fat
Tire and burger and crash.... Got the ZCE exam tomorrow.

I got an iPhone oh ya baby

I was able to get work to spring for most of an 8gb iPhone (we all
did) and I have to say it's everything I hoped it would be. Having
previously used the samsung blackjack with windows mobil, which I
found very cumbersom and even a bit confusing to do something like
connect to the VPN at work and set up an IMAP email accnt.



That in fact is probably the main reason my company went with the iPhone
instead of the windows based smartphones. It's totally worth the price.

I went to a Rush Concert!

I went up to Mpls to see a Rush Concert the other night. It was an awsome show. I was very impressed at how tight and together the band was. New stuff sounded great ... sort of progressive in fact. Way cool... Here's some pics.




Gotta try out the new blogger video feature too ... Can't see crap because we were a ways away and my camera sucks ... but you get the idea.
